The following skill assessment application options for ANZSCO 263112: Network Administrator are available for migration purposes:
Pathway 1 – Temporary Graduate (TG)
The Temporary Graduate (GT) skill assessment for Temporary Graduate (Subclass 485) visa pathway is for international graduate who has live and study in Australia and has completed an Australian bachelor’s degree or higher. To be eligible for the Temporary Graduate (GT) pathway, your nominated ANZSCO occupation must be on the Medium and Long-term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL).
You do not need work experience, however you will need to hold a qualification that is at the required Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) educational level from an Australian educational institution, and in a highly relevant field of study to your nominated occupation. This is a qualification skills assessment and can only be used to apply for a subclass 485 visa only.
Eligibility criteria for pathway 1
- Required AQF Level: Australian bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Required ICT Content: ICT Major
- Required Relevant Work Experience: No work experience required
- Required Qualification Closely Related to ANZSCO: Closely related to the nominated occupation.
- Application Type: Temporary Graduate – 485
Pathway 2 – Post Australian Study (PAS)
The Post Australian Study (PAS) skill assessment pathway for migration purposes in general is for international graduate who has live and study in Australia and has completed an Australian bachelor’s degree or higher.
To be eligible for this pathway, you are required to hold a qualification that is at the required Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) educational level from an Australian educational institution, and in a highly relevant field of study to your nominated occupation, and;
You are required to have one (1) year work experience in your highly relevant field of study to your nominated occupation after the completion date of your relevant Australian Qualification or;
Has completed of an Australian Computer Society (ACS) Professional Year Program. Find out more about the Professional Year Program
Eligibility criteria for pathway 2
- Required AQF Level: Australian bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Required ICT Content: ICT Major
- Required Relevant Work Experience: one (1) year relevant ICT work experience completed after the completion date of the relevant Australian qualification or completion of an ACS Professional Year Program.
- Required Qualification Closely Related to ANZSCO: Closely related to the nominated occupation.
- Application Type: Post Australian Study Skills Assessment
Pathway 3 – General Skills Assessment (Skills)
The General Skills Assessment (Skills) pathway for migration purposes and is suitable for applicants with tertiary Information Communication Technology (ICT) qualifications and ICT employment. There are 6 options under the Pathway 3 – General Skills Assessment:
Eligibility criteria for pathway 3, option 1
- Required Level of AQF comparability: Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Required ICT Content: ICT Major
- Required Qualification Closely Related to ANZSCO: Closely related to the nominated occupation.
- Required Relevant Work Experience: 2 years relevant ICT work experience completed in the last 10 years, OR;
4 years relevant ICT work experience completed anytime in past work history
Eligibility criteria for pathway 3, option 2
- Required Level of AQF comparability: Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Required ICT Content: ICT Major
- Required Qualification Closely Related to ANZSCO: NOT closely related to the nominated occupation.
- Required Relevant Work Experience: 4 years relevant ICT work experience completed anytime in past work history
- Application Type: Skills
Eligibility criteria for pathway 3, option 3
- Required Level of AQF comparability: Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Required ICT Content: ICT Minor
- Required Qualification Closely Related to ANZSCO: Closely related to the nominated occupation.
- Required Relevant Work Experience: 5 years relevant ICT work experience completed in the last 10 years, OR;
6 years relevant ICT work experience completed anytime in past work history
Eligibility criteria for pathway 3, option 4
- Required Level of AQF comparability: Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Required ICT Content: ICT Minor
- Required Qualification Closely Related to ANZSCO: NOT closely related to the nominated occupation.
- Required Relevant Work Experience: 6 years relevant ICT work experience completed anytime in past work history
- Application Type: Skills
Eligibility criteria for pathway 3, option 5
- Required Level of AQF comparability: Diploma Advanced Diploma Associate Degree
- Required ICT Content: ICT Major
- Required Qualification Closely Related to ANZSCO: Closely related to the nominated occupation.
- Required Relevant Work Experience: 5 years relevant ICT work experience completed in the last 10 years, OR;
6 years relevant ICT work experience completed anytime in past work history
Eligibility criteria for pathway 3, option 6
- Required Level of AQF comparability: Diploma Advanced Diploma Associate Degree
- Required ICT Content: ICT Major
- Required Qualification Closely Related to ANZSCO: NOT closely related to the nominated occupation.
- Required Relevant Work Experience: 6 years relevant ICT work experience completed anytime in past work history
- Application Type: Skills
Pathway 4 – Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
The Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) pathway for migration purposes and is suitable for applicants who hold tertiary qualifications with insufficient or no ICT content, or applicants who do not hold any recognised tertiary qualifications.
Eligibility criteria for pathway 4
- Required Level of AQF comparability: Non-ICT Diploma or higher
- Required ICT Content: N/A (Not Available)
- Required Qualification Closely Related to ANZSCO: N/A (Not Available)
- Required Relevant Work Experience: If your qualification is assessed as AQF Diploma or higher and with insufficient ICT content, you will require 6 years relevant work experience completed anytime in your past work history, plus a suitable Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) application to meet the suitability criteria, OR;
If you have no recognised tertiary educational qualification you will require 8 years relevant work experience plus a suitable Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) application to meet the suitability criteria.
