Last Updated on October 8, 2022 by Ozlinks Education

The Australian Bureau of Statistics created and maintains the Australian and New Zealand Standard Classification of Occupations (ANZSCO) structure for each occupation. The ANZSCO provides information on the skill level of jobs, as well as the qualifications and experience required for those occupations. The current ANZSCO version was released on 23 November 2021. Skilled Occupations List

The Skilled Occupation List is a list of ANZSCO occupations determined by the Department of Employment (DoE) and the Department of Home Affairs. The skilled occupation list is divided into three sections: the Medium and Long-term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL), the Short-term Skilled Occupation List (STSOL), and the Regional Occupation List (ROL).
